Facelift Rear Bumper fit on a pre facelift A8?
Has it been done, and would the chrome parts stand out a lot to the naked eye?
I know the fronts will not interchange due to headlight sizes being different

I don't believe so.... it may look off because of the gap for the chrome..... i was looking into this before. either way, I won't do it unless I was able to get the front also..... might look lopsided from a side profile. Just my thoughts......

It has been done over here in the UK and Europe...

The design of the facelift bumper means that there is a 10-15mm gap between the hood grill and the bumper, solution: change the bonnet too.
Woops just read the post again but the rear fits ok as well.
