Fault code.

16826- EVAP
Emission Control Sys- Small Leak
P0442 35-10 Intermittent
I guess I have a cracked hose somewhere?
Is this canister under my spare tire? The Bentley doesn't give me an answer for the ABZ motor.

I have another unrelated question, my engine is coded 01273 (99 A8), isn't there another code that wakes the engine up?
There are various codes for the transmission, 00012, 00011, etc.
I'm sure there has to be various codes for the motor. Hasn't anyone deciphered these yet?

Check this:

First take a look at the hoses leading into and exiting the EVAP Purge Regulator:

Then take a look at the hose connecting to the intake manifold (you may wnat to use leak detection spray for this):

If that doesn't do it, then check the EVAP canister hose connections (under the spare tire). Finally, check the Leak Detection Pump connections by removing the drivers side rear wheel well cover to access it.
