FCP parts full audi control arm kit 00-03 on sale
Been watching this item for almost a year, its been $240 just dropped to $185
It's a steal in my opinion for those who need/plan on changing out their front control arms on 2000-2003 models (97-99 have a shorter lower front control arm)
anyhow heres the link>>>

Don't do it... They're junk BTDT. I've tried them all and there isnt a good aftermarket CA kit out there.
They're cheap for a reason. Lot of labor to redo in 15k miles, if that.

I bought a complete control arm set from Blauparts that were Meyle brand and made in Germany. I don't have any complaints after almost 40,000 miles. HOWEVER, I did modify every one of them with grease zerts so that I could extend their usable life. I created a thread on it, use the search function to find it, it also has pictures.

I think the "brand" on my Rock Auto sourced upper arms was/is not OEM, but they are as far as I can tell, the same exact parts.
What if anything is different? (Also I'd be inclined to think it's the same company making the parts, just like TRW makes many of the "OEM" parts, but then sells them with "off brand" names on them all the time.
There are no logo's on these arms, but the rubber bushings are high quality, just like stock, and the ball joints appear to be the same, just new. Clearly both are forged alloy arms, pressed in bushings, and ball joints.
What fails on the "cheap" ones?
