Default Being that there not many, if any, pre-facelift S8 in the US, it's a long shot.

Most people do not realize the "look"(pre-facelift S8, above) you are after. Between all the mods you have done, once you get the S8 seats, steering wheel and some S8 rims on, I think you are ok with the S8 badge on. Just find a way to get some more ponnies under the hood!

Paul, only one question... The middle section of your lower grill, is that a real chrome edge or tape? If it is real, where did you find it? Did the 97-98 S8 have a chrome ring on the center section?

Default Yes, but only if I can have an engine swap with that!

Do you really have wheels? If so, send me an email with a price!

Default Nice look, but like others said lose the S8 badge...

Do you feel OK with the fake Gucci bag on your shoulder? :-))

The lower grills seem a bit out of place, probably because of the uncommon look--although I'm fairly neutral about their look.

Send us photos when the S8 seats arrive and are installed!!

Default 3rd

After all, I am one of a few that are going out of my way to make my Audi badge-less.

I think a car speaks for itself in terms of looks. Now if some uneducated person looks at my car and thinks nice S8, that's his fault, but if someone looked at my car with S8 badges and said " WTF, that's not an S8!". That's my fault.

Now we all have out opinions, and I am not saying I would not love to own your car if I had the chance. It does not ruin your car by any means, it is just not my style. The same way I do not like the mirror caps ( makes the mirrors look like they are off a ford F-150 of sorts ), nor do I like the right and left lower grill inserts ( look home made ). Not that I could think of a better option! Also not saying they look terrible. Again, just my style. I like subtle body changes, let the cars lines do the talking, and of course a decent set of rims

Before I bought my A8, I actually bought a set of 18" S8 rims. I called an canceled my order when I got around to thinking, wow, I am going to look like a want-to-be. I said to myself, if I can make this into a S8, then sure. Keep in mind that you are over half way into S8-ness... maybe half a S8 badge

With the seats, and 5 valve heads, Hmm.... and if you ( we) do not have the carbon fiber driveshaft...... put that on that bad boy, and I would have to say you would have better than a pre-facelift S8

Cheers,
