Default It works only when the car is runing.
I am planning to put an extra battery for the cooler only. I will charge it with a solar panel and the car will charge it also. It cools down 8 cans of pop or beer from room temperature to 40F in two hours.

Default I wish Costco still carried those, instead of the bottles they now have.
The draught bottles are OK, but those draught cans are the best.
