After spending the better part of the morning running VAG, and then pulling the front wheels off; the problem(s) were located.

When I had (shop to be named later) Install my brakes, they left all wires hanging. So it didnt take long for the axles to do a nice job of burning thru them. You would think they could afford a zip tie or two, at the very least.

thank god the computer triggered a warning lite on the dash. At first i thought it was because of them leaving the resevoir cap off (which i found last nite). AFter bleeding the system, the codes were still present, so i started looking further.

You can even see where they left the new brake line, to rub against the drivers side axle.

(hmm, i wonder what happens when that finally rubs thru if left unchecked?).

Very dangerous stuff, people.

I have notified the particular shop that did all of this. I sent them PICS, and gave them the option of replacing all the damaged parts.

They talk the talk, now lets see if they walk the walk.

Time to find a different mechanic- this is unbelieveably sloppy and downright dangerous workmanship. Make them fix it to your satisfaction, and NEVER go back again. Also, please let the rest of us Audi lovers know who this incompetent shop is so that we can aviod it like the plague!
