Seems to me that if the S55 did beat an S8 by three car lengths that averages out to $9,000 per car length since the difference in the base price of the two cars is $27,000. I would hope that you get something for that amount of money. That's quite a premium to pay for a little more torque when the rest of the car and it's features are quite substandard to the S8. You can put any size engine you want in an S series body but it still won't make it sporty like an S8.

Also it is a mater of driving
Sometimes it is wise to be smoked,...sometimes the driver is not a F1-driver,...
Somehow this debate should be settled officially.. on a race road, with professional drivers,.. aslo a Jaguar XJR should be participated!

No doubt! One interesting thing I did find was that there are more pictures of the new AUDI RS6 on the MB board then there are pictures of "Daddy'd new AMG 55"..
