I second what Paul said on the gurgling sounds...
Mine have clogged up three times this past year.
Had gurgling sounds all through the center console area and a gallon of water collected in the rear seat footwells.
My "permanent solution" was to have my mechanic snip off the flappers-type ends of the A/C drain hose.
Similar approach for the cowl drains under the hood. We completely removed those, to no ill effect so far...
