Thinking of changing my beloved Ur S6 after 8 years of happy ownership for an S8,thinking how much more thirsty the S8 is?

The A8 is amazing, the weight of the car for its size due to the aluminium.
When you think the last S6 with 4.2v8,weighed more, was a smaller car and was a touch more thirsty than the S8!!!

No chance, an S8's 5th gear is too low.
You'll be lucky to get 21 mpg, but it's worth it.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a8/msgs/75960.phtml">An Oil Change</a></li></ul>

My book says 16.5 liters per 100km urban cycle=14mpg but on a run at
55mph I should get as much as 29mpg
huge difference between the two but from experiance it is fairly accurate.
Although the 29mpg would involve a flat road locked in cruise control at a very boring speed.
Personally I would rather keep the oil wells and my heart pumping and enjoy the drive.
