H&Rs finally DONE! (Bandwidth Hog!!)
I FINALLY found the time to install the H&R suspension into the rear of my A8!!! It took a while (just over 4 hours), but I managed to complete the job without help and without any bloody knuckles. Having the correct tools is a must- there is no substitute for good spring comperessors and air wrench. As usual, I photographed the process, and here are a few.
Here is the original equipment suspension in place before removal:

In order to remove the coil spring, the camber adjusting bolt (holds upper control rod to wheel bearing housing) must be removed. I would strongly recommend marking the location (rotationally) of the cam so you can get it back to where it started:

Once the control arm is free, the use of a really long crowbar is necessary to get the required room needed to remove the spring:

This is the void created once the coil spring and shock have been removed:

Then, just like magic, the new parts are installed (both sides)!!!

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/24433/new_stuff_in_right_side_640.jpg">
And finally, the results!! Which of these two photos should I make my new sig photo? Votes? Neither?

Next on the agenda is the timing belt/water pump replacement with the help of pwaterloo!
