over the last few nights and days the hazzard lights have been activated on there own the car remains locked and the alarm is still on it hasnt been crashed or nudged by any one, i open the car and turn the hazzard lights off with the button on the centre console, there is no problems starting or running can any on help with this problem

and the problem still occurs after you do that, then suspect the switch. That wire is for triggering the hazard lights if airbags deploy.

If it's 2000+ with the wire connected, and you ever have the hazard lights turn on and the engine shut off while driving, then something is putting a false signal on that wire. I think one person here had a wet engine control module do that.

no sorry, its not happening when im driving its when the car is parked and left alone with the doors locked and the alarm on.... ive disconnected the battery and left it over night not tryed it yet but could still do with an idea or a fix. thanks
