you can easily make them yourself from steel ball linkages. This is what I did, cost me around £11 and wont break.

Thanks Goooran. So where would one source those steel ball linkages? And how did you get them to the right spec? Nice..

I got mine from ebay in the UK, if you are in the US try ebay, although any good automotive store should have them. Just measure the diameter of the ball on the plastic arm on the car.

The ones I got were too long. One of my plastic arms was broken too so it was no good for measurements. I took the good plastic arm off as well, used that to measure its length and cut down each steel ball link accordingly. Then I had to tap it out so I could ling the two ball link arms together with the bit of thread supplied on the steel ball that came with them (in the picture. Its much easier than it sounds, they were already hollow, you just drill them a bit deeper with a smaller drill than the thread, then use the tapping tool to make the thread. Its very easy to do by hand even though you are cutting into steel, those tapping tools are very sharp.
Also, the beauty of it is, even if you cut them down a bit short, you can use the threaded piece to adjust the lenght.
You can put some thread-lock in when you get the lenght right, but even if you dont bother there is no way they can unwind once in place as the ***** on each end hold the ball links in position.

here you go, I found some, although you need to check that the ball size is the same.

I just realised, looks like you are missing the nut that helps hold the plastic lever on. You should get that sorted out just in case, you dont want that thing working itself loose.

Okay, thank you again Goooran. As for the bolt, I took that off and put it back on right after I took that picture.

Jamgusa - I'll check that out as well.

Thanks for all the help guys, much appreciated.
