Default So I went to check out his ^^^^ car yesterday (since he is bragging about it a lot;)

He let me drive it and it is a NEW car. I just don't know how they put 60K miles in it. Probably on jack stands. I feels and drives like a brand new car. I could get a ticket in it in no time. Firs time in a long time I wasn't happy to drive my car home

Default Sweet ride! Congratulations. I know this has been a goal for a while now.

Nice to see it happen. This S8 doesn't know yet how good life's going to be. A road trip to Colorado would be in order. Have fun.

Default Re: I was thinking last night....

Wow, that almost hurts to read. And the S8 doesn't even occupy the same solar system as the MDX, it is that much better. I have to agree, for the money, nothing else comes close. Mine was about 21K (will post pictures soon), and for that money, you'd still be way off a new Camry or Accord, cars I wouldn't trust changing lanes quickly above 70mph. A tip: I found that, even though the avg. mpg on the S8 at 70-80 is about 20-22mpg, it does not give up much on the A8 as far as distance on a tank of gas. But I also noticed that it spent most of its time turning at 3 grand on the highway. Once I have picts, will also post something on life with the car after a week.

Don't let these elitist S8ers get you down, Gabor. In our humility lies our nobility! (Sigh.)

Nice! Highly recommend the Porter Cable Orbital and the Griots glaze on the black.

Congrats, Paul! Two projects: a) Brakes; b) Suspension (too "bouncy"; need it more tight)
