Default I run 88-90 oC, calling PaulW ...

Something's not right. Other's have confirmed that this works for the '01 A8/S8. Perhaps it's a different set of codes for the '98.

Paul, does this work on your '97?

Default Just checked the Bentley, ...

The thermostat starts to open at 87 oC (188 oF) and isn't fully open until 102 oC (215 oF). Darn, I didn't know the motor was designed to run quite that hot!

Default Do you have the pre-facelift codes for voltage, speed, and rpm?

If so, I modify the other items in the <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a8/msgs/93409.phtml">Code List</a>.
