I don't understand why Audi would recall the A6 for faulty fuel sender units, but not A8

Default I don't understand why Audi would recall the A6 for faulty fuel sender units, but not A8

when they are the same problem. My understanding is that A8s are also plauqued by the same problem as the officially recalled A6 for erroneous fuel level readings. If they have enough sense to recall the A6, why not the A8? Audi has to really get their act together regarding these gross problems. Otherwise, as other manufacturers are coming out with all-wheel-drive systems with luxury appointments, I am the first to say good-bye to Audi, after being a loyal customer for many years.
