I just recently started hearing a slight.......
clicking noise from sounds like it is coming from under the front wheel wells as I make a turn while slighlty breaking.
It sounds like something loose or worn in the steering or tire arms ( if that is the proper term ), kinda like a metal creeking noise while making a turn.
Any suggestions or worries to be made aware of?

Turn the wheels hard at look at the outer CV joint Boot
You might have a torn CV joint boot. If you turn the wheel hard right or left, you can inspect the CV joint boot. It's just inboard of the strut assembly.
If it is ripped, you will most likely see all sorts of grease in the wheel well too. This would give you a noise when turning the wheel left (bad right side joint) or right (bad left side joint).
If it is it, get it fixed right away, just have to pull the axle, clean the joint and repack it, install the new boot.

Re: I just recently started hearing a slight.......
My guess is it is either the CV or the control arm. I can't remember which of the control arms I did on my '97, but one is relatively easy, the other is a monster, get it into the shop, and have them look at it

What is cost to do at dealorships, should it be this? or what parts do I need and does anyone have pictures and procedures for me to attempt to do. Any special tools required, etc.
Thanks
