Default I know we've beat this to death, but ...

.
availability of a 450 hp RS6 in the U.S. seems to bode well for the '03 S8.

Diagonally connecting the shocks to control dive and roll sounds like a version of the top of the line Penske racing shocks, which are ~$2k per corner. And those front brakes -- 365mm floating rotors with 8-piston calipers !!

Darn, and I really do not want to keep my '01 S8 for more than two years. I just hope that Audi sets one other specification for each new iteration of the S8: make each new model lighter in weight, even if it's by only a few pounds.

AudiWorld RS6 announcement

Has the new RS6 really been confirmed for the US?

Default I think so...

...when at the dealer the other day, the salesman showed me exactly what was on audiworld. Don't know when it's coming in, but I think I want the engine in my next car to be a turbo (last car was, still think it's the greatest!) with a six speed manual.

A manual with a turbo is the best! You can roll on power whenever you want however you want....but it does take some forward thinking.

A twin turbo V8, I knew I was going to get one of those when I first saw the R8's in the American LeMans series! Oh yea.... :-)
