Leaky windshield?

Leaky windshield?
It rained today and I noticed some water droplets dripping from the dome light panel. Specifically, from where the dome light fits into the frame in the headliner, above the sunroof switch assembly.
I took out the sunroof switch (the dome light didn't seem to want to pop out) and didn't see anything - will have a closer look later though. Sunroof is draining just fine, and most of the trough around the roof was dry. A search hear and on QW didn't bring up much.
Any ideas?

Take the sunroof switch out and take the car through a high pressure car wash. Then take a mirror and light to see where the water is going. Might need a second pair of hands to do this.
I noticed that the seal around my windshield had about a 4mm gap. No water issues yet but I'm going to put some black silicone sealant in that open space just in case.
