Locking car, horn beep
When I lock the car the beeping sound that comes from the left rear , sounds weak, not as loud as it previously was. Where do I look for this part on the car and does anyone know what this problem is

Re: Locking car, horn beep
The security horn is located in the rear quarter panel, behind where the CD changer is mounted (if memory serves me). So you'll need to remove the changer and trim.

Or just login in with vag-com and recode it so you dont get the stupid honk.
Imo it sounds far to rubbish for a quality prestige car, doesn't even sound as good as a "bleep" even from a cheap alarm you fit yourself. Audi probably realised this themselves as my pre-facelift had it, but my face lift does not.
I think the indicators flashing is more than enough indication the alarm is set.
