Looking at buying this 99 A8. It has painted lower bumpers, but not sideskirts.
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/15642/a8-sidehill2.jpg"></center><p>The seller tells me that the sideskirts are made of a rubbery plastic that cracks easily if painted to match the car.
Is this right? Do any of you have painted sideskirts?

A lot of people have the sides painted on other models. All you need is..
good prep work, adhesion promoter, and enough flex additive in the paint. A good shop should be able to do a decent job on that.
