My back speakers have gone south
Hi guys. I picked up my '03 A8L for Christmas, and while at the dealer had them install an ipod adapter to the Bose Symphony. Well, since then, the back half of the car has lost most of it's sound. When I use the fader towards the rear, there's not much coming out, almost like the rear amp is not firing (much lower levels with little bass). I've demo'd it to the head Audi tech at Rusnak in Pasadena, CA. They can't figure it out, and I don't know what happend unless the rear amp died. I'm still getting sound back there, but it's more like a 74 Carolla than a Bose Symphony. I'm not sure where I'll go from here. Cheers, Rick

Sounds like they messed up the connections on the iPod adator
The 20 pin connector has CD and line level outputs for the speakers, they fubar'd one or more of those connections on the 20 pin connector.
