Cool. Was tiny, back in the day... It's quite the event anymore.
Only something like 100 people rode the whole thing when he did the first one back in '72. It was a low-key ride-with-friends deal then... everybody knew everybody else by the end of the ride. I don't even think they even did one in '73, the Register assumed interest was so low. By '74 they gave it another shot and it turned into an institution.

Beautiful but the seats don't fit in so well. The poor ps salesman on that auction cracks me up...

1 '93 Jeep Grand Cherokee 218,356 miles (leaks a little tranny fluid)
1 '93 Kawasaki Ninja 600 18,745 miles ( needs some body work)
1 '88 5000CS TQ 217,897 miles (needs the IM and Turbo put back on)
I'd love to have a car from this millenium.
