Default The New BMW -7 Series TV Commercial

Did anyone notice that there is only ONE shot of the rear-end and it was from a distance with the lighting very dark at best. They kept showing views of the front and side of the car as it was being driven on these rolling desert type hills. It looked to have been shot in the outskirts of LA.

The best thing about the car are those 19" optional wheels and beefy tires

Default The looks of a car's butt are very important to me and...

...I have always been kind of frustrated with the fact that a lot of car commercials don't seem to show much footage of a (new released) car's rear. Is that to get us over to the showroom to come check it out the car "in person"?

Love the A8's butt of course! ;-)

Default As far as "butt" shots......

this is the whole reason I don't like the A6 at all, and don't really care for the lines of the new A4.......Still hoping that Audi doesn't put that Jennifer Lopez *** on the New A8

Agree, it was the major reason back in '97 / '99 to first "leap" ( price wise ) to the A8 from my Audi 100CS. Have not regretted it since.

Agree agree agree! I was probably going to get the A8 anyway, but I quickly ruled out the A6 4.2 because of the way the rear styling looks. I do think the 2002 version of the A6 is improved back there a bit with the exhaust pipes, etc - subtle little changes that help.

As far as the new BMW 745i goes - per my eyes, the rear is awful, the front is awful, the sides are marginal, the interior is marginal. However, I do hear that it drives very well. A friend of mine has just ordered one. Why, I do not know.

I only know of one car that looks as good as my A8 - that's an S8, of course!
