EBC Yellow are track-use only. They will murder the discs when cold (as they are on the street).

Default Wrong Blue are track use only

Yellow are track and street use, I have them fitted to my A8 along with Turbo groove rotors.

They even have the European ECE R90 approval for road use.

Default I hope these EBC Yellow's do better dan RedStuffs. Those nuked my discs (Brembo) within 5000 miles.

The Redstuff's are way to aggressive. When cold, they cause extreme wear on discs on such a heavy car.

I ran the most expensive Brembo sport-discs that money could buy en the Redstuff's destroyed them quickly :-(
Boy was i pissed back then.

As the Yellow's are, to my info, even more aggressive, i wonder what the results will be...

I therefore really qualify these types of pads as track-only on heavy cars like the A8. I don't care that the manufacturer says otherwise.

Well my discs were fine with the red stuff, I went through 2 sets of red pads to one set of discs, not sure of the mileage as I dont take much notice of that, but I would estimate they lasted around 20,000miles almost all of which is from cold/short journeys.

Only had the Yellows on for a couple of weeks so far but have them fitted to both of my A8 4.2QS's, one has EBC plain discs, one has EBC turo grooved discs.

You may choose to only qualify them as track only and ignore manufacturer reccommendations but perhaps you should have said so in your original post rather than state as if it is fact.
