I'm sure it's very nice in person and I don't intend to be an *** but it sounds like a chainsaw or maybe a snow mobile.

Im guessing it's just the mic you used?

It was a quick recording on my IPAQ and sounds pretty good on my PC with Subwoofer and bass turned up.

I think i read on this forum how the x-over retards that throaty sound, to a more subtle rumble

rebuilt tranny, new right axle cv and joints, timing belt and water pump done 40k ago, lots of little upgrades, tip shifter installed (replaced my missle lauch buttons),new rotors, ceramic brake pads, SS brake lines, mp3 (blitzsafe), New wheels tires, new o2 sensor, fixed ABS wire open on left front, air intake manifold leak fixed, I SHOULD BE GOLDEN NOW for at least another 100k. Right now I am at 95k.. I do love this car, and I have learned a ton about it in the 10 months I have had it so far. hard to believe my Saab is more dependable. that is why I can't give the sabb up.. I have had 2 saabs I jiust sold one with 270k on a turbo 4cyl. It had to have a tranny (5spd) and clutch replaced after 225k. and at 230k the Traction control replaced (TB) and a blower motor, that is about it. the other saab I stil have the last of the 9000 (really a aero) has had only a o2 sensor replaced and has 98k on it. But I love the audi and the look, and looks I get, comments on the car (yes ego thing), the feel and room of the car, quattro, and the list goes on..... Don't get me wrong the saab is nice too and fun to drive but it is no A8.........
