new windshield

new windshield put in today... My radar detector works, my garage door opener and cell phone works too. I got the NON-insulated one put in.. THANK GOD FOR STONES. I hated the insulated one.

Insulated? I need to have mine replaced soon, what brand did you end up with?

insurance company paid for it. Just insist on one that is non insulated. I did notice it was made in germany>> numbers on the Windshield are 43r-001126, dot 27 m75 as 1 vsg tinted 2. also saint gobain. hope that helps. It put a smile on my face when I could use my radar detector again.

I am sure the insurance company was happy too, the non insulated is much cheaper.

They're an Audi OEM supplier. Their name name is on my glass.

I love that state, when you have collision on your car and your windshield gets a crack, there is a no deductible replacement!

I tried to get that on my policy when I moved to Chicago....they don't offer it here.
