Wasn't there a different audi that we could use its mirror for the A8 to make the mirrors the same size on both sides?

I searched but did not see much of anything about this.

I think I am going to go with the chrome mirror caps( or housings ), both normal size if I can figure out exactly what I need.

I thought someone did this already (converted to the same size mirrors).\

So in the end I would have the same size mirrors on both sides in chrome.

Bought the aluminum housing from ebay.de. Had to use the existing brackets but we got it to work. Actually there is a set for sale on ebay.com right now.

I think I remember something about B5 S4 mirrors working for our cars, but I dont remember where

Is it really worth $300 for mirror caps?
Will this housing work with all other components from A8?

I think I paid $350 for housing, motor, mirrors and shipping from germany. I've seen them sell for as little as $150 for all the parts on ebay.de.

But it is a lot easier and you won't get raped on the exchange rate.
