Default Onboard Computer Display in Climate Control

Has anyone figured out the Computer codes available thru the climate controls? If you simultaneously press the Recirc and the drivers top vent control (Up arrow), the dual climate control seems to show diagnostic and engine info. You can then cycle thru the values by pressing the drivers +/- controls. Pressing the AUTO buttons puts the system back in normal mode. The A4 values have been published on this site, but has anyone got the A8 values.

Default Re: Onboard Computer Display in Climate Control

I am pretty sure the A8 values are listed at the same location. I know I have printed them out before.

Default Any idea where?

Any idea where you found the codes? I am not referring to the "Coding the Control Module in the Audi A8" info in the Electronics FAQ. The Control Module codes are for reprogramming the behavior of the door locks and the like. The OBD codes I am seeking are the A8 equivalents to the "Climate Control Panel & OBD Display" codes as found for the A4 in the Interior FAQ. The OBD codes give detailed info about any errors in the system and actual readings from the various sensors the car has.

By the way, I had the dealer reprogram the the doors so that they auto-lock at 9MPH and the doors unlock with one press of the FOB - these work great.

Default Sorry I misunderstood what you were looking for ......

The "coding the control module in the A8" in FAQ section is what I was refering to, but thanks for the info on the the door locks. I have been in Chrysler products that auto lock at around 15 mph and thought it was a good idea. I think I will leave the two stage unlock in place though. Just don't like the idea of some unwanted person being able to jump in another door when I unlock the car.
