Default One more question about rotor's?

I changed my pads the other day and noticed that my rotor's are very very thin....my buddy who is a mechanic told me i need new ones. So with that said, do you guys think i should just go oem? or i found over on audizine.com that spp is having a good sale on rotor's cross drilled, slotted and what have you. for $300 shipped. Any suggestions?

Default On A8s, drilling and slotting is mostly cosmetic IMO (under normal driving).

Not that that's not a reason to get them. Obviously we love a pretty package or we'd be driving something else!

Default I have to disagree with that. My car has drilled/slotted my wife's car has stock and the difference

is huge. My tires are wider and bigger diameter too and with the drilled/slotted rotors it is easy to activate the ABS. On my wife's car I am afraid I will bend the pedal.

Default I have to agree with tozo on this one. From my old Q45 to my A8, made a big difference.
