are they any good ? I live in Portland, and can expect snow/ice slush and possibly a spot of rain these coming months... Should i spring for some Conti Extremes or P Neros or keep the P6's ?

I think you'll be fine in Portland with P6 Allroads....
here in NW PA...we get alot of rain year round. As well as snow--12-14ft per year. Easily, 2-3 ft. storms, ice storms, sleet, you name it. These tires handle very well for all season
Have 10K miles on these tires, and am putting them through 1 more year before replacing. They wear rather fast, but feel confident for 1 more Erie winter. Quattro will do it's duty. If you don't have decent tread depth, then consider switching. Good luck!
