Any idea what this wire is and where it came from !!! Have never seen it before, it appeared as I was replacing the battery.
Looks freshly stripped or pulled off, possible it is from the black coiled tube to the left, which has a connecter, but the orange wire is far FATTER than the connecters other side.
Could be from previous owner......possibly 12V remote turn-on wire for aftermarket amplifier......or something else aftermarket that needed 12V source.
