Paging KamakazieP... Brake Qs?
How hard was it to do the refill? What kind of fluid did you use?
I've had a hard tim with stainless lines in the past in working on a POS 1974 Mercedes. Would you recommend the fluid change without changing the brake lines?

Re: Paging KamakazieP... Brake Qs?
I used Ate Super Blue brake fluid.. its a DOT 4 equivalent that has great dry and wet boiling points. It approx $10 a can. I used about 3/4 can. Since we need to change the fluid every 2 years i would say its a great replacement for stock fluid.
If you want to stick with the stock lines, i would wait until you need to change it. Unless you do hard braking and are constantly boiling you fluid you might want to switch.
Randys link at ogracing.com helped a lot.
I used a brake bleeder kit at my local parts store. It screws on to the brake resevior and you pump it to a certain pressure. Then all you need to do is open the bleader screw and wait for blue fluid to come out.. SIMPLE!

http://www.ogracing.com</a

I don't think the fluid in my car has ever been changed...
It's gross and dirty and far from clear.
Thank you for the info and link. I may have another weekend project.
