I would like to get my car aligned here in Chicago as well. I've always been told it has to be done at the dealership. I had a control arm replaced under warranty three years ago and they may have aligned the car at that time.

Still, the Goodyears and other places will not touch my car for an alignment. The non Quattro Audis and BMWs no problem. Still, they would not touch my SL 500 either. They have a prejudice with the higher end cars that they will not be able to meet the customers expectations. I am not a snob about getting my car fixed. I will go to the independents and franchise stores if the people are articulate.

I always get mine done at Laurel in Westmont....a mere $200 if you don't have any discount coupons!

Got it last time for $99 with a coupon I got in the mail!
