Painting A8 mirrors= S8 mirror?? Yea or Nea?
Considering the cost of S8 chrome mirrors, has anyone considered just painting their stock mirrors at a body shop?
With the low resale value of my 99, I really don't mind customizing the cars' grills, debadging mirrors, etc..
Opinions anyone? I know it is a cheap way to go about it.

as far as I know, the 99 has different mirrors than the 00+ and pre 98....
I do know for sure that the mirror caps, such as the ones in the link will NOT work on the 99s, but will on 97-98 and 00+
what I'm trying to say is that the S8 mirror housings just may not fit the 99.
