Parking Buzzer
Hi all,
I've a 1998 A8 2.8 D2, please tell me where the reversing parking buzzer is housed. It went quiet fist and now has stopped working altogether.

Not easy to get to...it's under the rear hat shelf, between it and the metal boot seperation wall (shelf)...requires removing the interior shelf to access, according to Bentley...rather involved, inluding seat back removal first...more involved if you have rear sunshade.
The control module for all parking sensors is in the boot, under the cd changer frame, toward rear of car.
2 wires for rear buzzer should be red w/yellow stripe & blue, connected at terminals #4 and #8 on the control module.
All this if U.S. and Euro models have the same wiring layout and colors.
