S8 with ABZ engine block
Hi guys,
i'm on the beginning of swaping 4.2 V8 32V into C4 chassis. I bought an engine from S8 with engine AHC ( the label in the trunk says that it's the AHC engine), but on the right side of the engine ( on the block ) it has label ABZ. Part numbers of the fuel injectors and the ECU are from AHC, so it is possible to be AHC engine with ABZ block ? I'm very confused.

I knew this sounded familiar.... look here.
"I have met this new liscensed mechanic from the Audi dealer in Kuwait , My car is in his workshop he told me that the ABZ and AHC piston Block is the same only the difference is in the heads and in the Manifold system ,and the fact is i bring one complete used engine from An A8 and the part number on the block is the same like my old engine anyway i will give you all the information for the car as sonn as i tested !"
