S8 Front Bumper Space issue

See the photo - I've got some "separation" occuring between the headlight assembly and the bumper - front passenger side.
Looked at the bumper bolts - they seem fine e.g. not obviously loose. I haven't hit anything ever with the car - except maybe slight bump on a parking garage front at literally 1/8 mph.
Car has been to the repair shop a couple of times for bumper clearing issues - most recently to the dealer for a MAF replacement.
Notice how different the left side looks - tight and clean - the way it should look.
Anyone relate to this?
The picture is not a shadow or perspective . .

I am pretty sure the bumper shock has an adjustment for this...

If you pulled the bumper off, you would see that the "core" of the bumper shock that the 10mm allen head bolt passes through is threaded into the "eye" of the bumper shock. This allows for an up-down adjustment of either side of the bumper. see Red arrow in picture.
Again, I'll stress that "I think" this is the case. I recently had the bumper off ours and I think I remember seeing this.

One correction I believe....
The bolt which hold the bumper on in each side does go through the item #28, but in order to actually adjust the bumper, you need to loosen the 3 #29 nuts and actually move the strut assembly to the desired location. This can be a bit of a trial and error process.

Thanks - Will pull apart this weekend . . .
and report back with pix!
Glad it sounds like an adjustment and not some type of replacement.
It is really annoying me, the car doesn't look right.
One of my neighbors said to caulk it . . .

Agreed, take the bumper off and adjust the three bolts that hold the rocket launcher in place
