I'm lucky to have a couple of great cars. This morning, when running out to get a coffee, I was reminded of how much I love our 2001 S8. Feels so light and quick, looks great, handles great, great brakes, great seats, love the ergonomics, love the steering wheel. Creeping up on 108,000 miles and can't imagine why I'd sell her. Was day dreaming of what she'd be like with a manual. TyrolSport in Queens, NY keeps her running, and I bet Mike and his crew could figure out how to do the conversion.

I've seen a few used manual S8 trannys on eBay overseas a few times.

Anyone seen or heard of somebody doing it?
