S8 TMC module etc

Hi, I recently bought an S8 MY 2000. It has a lot of problems I'm sorting out one by one.

The radio complains about not being able to connect to the TMC module or whatever. The radio does work. Where is this module supposed to be? I found several possible locations including the trunk and under the driver's side of the dash, but it's not there, and neither are there any suitable looking connectors hanging loose.

Under the driver's dash I saw that the diversity antenna cable and mirror heating (?) cable coming from the driver's side mirror are just hanging there disconnected. There didn't seem to be anything they would connect to. Where are they supposed to plug in?

In the trunk there's a mess of wires including one wiring loom that has been severed from its connector and just taped together. Could this supposed to have been connected to the TMC module? There's also a few of the diversity antenna cables, a 6 pin connector and a round 12 (?) pin connector similar to one the plugs in behind the HU (see pic). Where are these supposed to connect?

Are there any resources I could use to look up the electrics and whatnot so I could see how everything's supposed to be? Also interested in where you guys find the correct part numbers for your Audis. Been using this (https://nemigaparts.com/cat_spares/etka/audi/a8q/257/), but it lists many different configurations.
