S8 year to year differences?

I'd have doubted the Andorra / Burgundy Pearl were different, but love the chance to see. Could have finger bang'd Bruce's Andorra @ //SFest buuuuuuuut he "Edweirdo'd" on us - <<<again>>> (you made your bed B 8-)!).
I thought one of the greens had much more black in it and one had much more 'spruce' or whatever (more greenie) - figured it was the ambient light effect. Cool, thanks. The blacker one looks nicer IMO.

I agree. I thought there was only one green (racing green) used for D2 A and S8s until I bought my current car. Irish Green looks black under most lighting conditions, whereas Racing Green always looks green in the sun.

The Triumph owner in me can't help but think Hans & Frans translated their names wrong.
Irish to me would imply brighter green.
Racing Green to me would harken BRG (British Racing Green ala me TR3) which if you go way back did have a lot of black in it.

My '02 is Nemo Blue, it was an 'Audi executive' car. Also didn't PaulW look at a charcoal gray one with burgundy interior? So some one-off colors are out there.
