Setting 2001 S8 sale price advice.
I was wondering what you guys would think would be a decent price, in the higher range, for a 01 S8 with low miles. I am in no hurry to sell but plan on moving/traveling and am thinking about selling my S8. So with no rush I could just leave it on the market until the right buyer came along looking for a nice condition one. It has under 9,000 miles and is basically as new. Not a single rock chip, etc etc. I have seen in the past few months of research upper 60s but I do not know what they finally sold at.
Silver, black interior. Comes all of the few options that were available as well as the sport seats switched for luxury seats.
Just curious on some opinions.
Any replies are greatly apprenticed.

Re: Luxury seats a detriment....
Don't worry, I just wanted to hear some thoughts. I am not selling it try to make a quick buck off it. I am just not driving it lately and won't be able to for some time so I thought I might give it another home so it could get some actual use.
I think mid 45s is a tad low though, this is just based on what I have watched online and emailed some sellers. I have seen plenty with 3x the miles go for 55+.
Just curious, I will probably given in and not sell it at all anyways =)

I've been pricing 2001's S8s-mid to low fourties is about right. Maybe slighly higher ...
with low miles but not much higher. Keep enjoying it if you don't have to sell. Half the new price is not unusual at all for Audis after three years.

I wish it had the Alcantara option. I'd love to find a silver/black S8 with Alcantara package, and
such low mileage.
Of course I'd also prefer the regular sport seats over the "luxury" seats, because the sport seats have the adjustable/extendable seat cushions.

Re: I wish it had the Alcantara option.
I didn't put in the original order of the car.. It was actually ordered by Sandy Alomar of the at the time Cleveland Indians.. Then when he got traded to the White Sox he just cancelled his order. I had a A4 then and just turned it in when they got the S8 in. I like the luxury seats personally. Given the choice then without trying them I would have defiantly gone with the sports seats, but now I think I would pick the luxury if I could do it over again.
Just personal choice.. The chances of me actually selling it are slim. If I do even put it up for sale I will most likely ask a very high price that no one will pay and I can just keep it. =)
