//SFest is der //BestFest
If only because there is no BreastFest (yet), that is.
Ladies, gals, womenz... we're a mere ***30 daze*** from the 7th annual
//SFest gala extravaganza Roseanne Rosannadanna. Things are shaping
up quite nicely to date, with some of course continued surprizez up
our dirty sleevez. And the grass (well crabgrass at least) at the
site's backlot has grown in abundantly rendering the dust a non issue
to be.
If you haven't yet, have a gander @ <a href="http://www.sfest.com/forums/">//SFest Forum</a> and
join in accordingly - fun stuff. And please note
<a href="http://www.sfest.com/">//SFest.com</a> this year's event is held in the memory of Bill
Perron whom we all dearly miss - we will be featuring a special
memorial just before the raffle.
Speaking of raffle, holy crap do we have a bustling POWDER KEG of
freakin' schwag for you folksez! Some really appealing items from
most of *THE* players in the Audi arena, <<<VERY>>> generously donated
in support of our event. Do take the time to note our <a href="http://www.sfest.com/sponsors.html">sponsor page</a>
for those who've commited to-date.
Some people will be walking with some seriously nice stuff.
And gas prices be damned - we've got the typical (atypical?) mid-west
crew caravaning for their 7th and 5th and 2nd times, and all the usual
(unusual) suspects will be present. Note to PaulW... Baloney's just up the road from you - tailgate or ride gun yes?
Please email me for an evite ASAP if you'd like to join us and did not
receive one. Pre-registration is required and hey it saves you a
buck: $25 now, $30 day of. Remember, the first 50 or so arrivals
receive our always wonderful BootyBag(tm) not to mention are better
assured not being parked in front of the PortOpot.
We've expanded our //Staffer crew signficantly with the addition of
some kind folks. Please note the names / faces of who's who during
that day:
Julian Barrera will be grillbacking ChefBob Saas and providing general
event facilitation, Don Warren has joined on for sponsor solicitation
and awesome relief of fannypack / fashion challenged boy Jeff
Postupack for raffle runningses, and Neil Poillon has also awesmoely
offered Gate Control relief for Steve Young so Steve's not collared to
the fence all day for once. Lastly ohso not leastly, Mike Claire
along with Mike Lardizabal will take my reigns of parking doody
(beyond superawesome relief!) - yes I finally will get to hoist a beer
or 17 with yous alls w/o interruption as typical - I'm wicked psyched
at this prospect, and - BEWARE / muwHA! Scott Sierakowski, Jim
Pasqualooney, Posto, Steve, Bob Rossato, and myself continue to remain
in direct control, out of control, lost control, or something.
Lastly, you should all be aware that //Scott //Sierakowski has been
<<<DA MAN>>> when it comes to our website, shirt design, etc. Without
his divine intervention we'd still be back in der //Stone Age fersure.
Be sure to thank him for ALL his significant efforts - do so in
advance as Scott is unfort. (for us) but fort. (for him) going to be
gallavanting Poland and will miss the event. D'oh!
As alwayz... looking forward to continued great times with even greater
peoplez. Hannibal seyz: I love it when a plan comes together!

If it were only less than a 2,000 mi drive, I'd be there in a heartbeat.
But there's no chance of talking the wifey into joining me for this event, and the timing is brutal w/ work commitment - darn it!
I'll have to enjoy this great event virtually - again!

Ah, what's 2k miles betwixt friends??? I hear ya Jim - the distance is the sole reason I started...
...this in 2002. At the time there was an "S-Car Nationals" event in f'n MN. MN!?!?!? Who TF lives in MN!?!?!? Oh, sorry Twincities 8-).
Figured no way Jose (or hose B) I'd everever get there, so my backyard it was to be. And how we've grown. Nutty.
Well, we'll do our best for your virtual enjoyment. There's rumor of a Webcam this year muwHA!
If I ever get to CO, we'll def. have to meet tho.
