Are you a member there, post this message for me: 476 hp is not faster than 530hp RUF !!
Lets see the pros and cons.
I'm sure the SL is very fsat, but no where near the Ruf turbo R... even the stock turbo could probably beat it.
The SL has 476hp and wegihs more than most big sized sedans, i'm guessing 4000pounds+ and finally, it is automatic (well that doesnt matter at high highway speed)
The ruf turbo R is 530hp (110 hp over stock turbo) but weighs around 3400 pounds, and that is maximum weight. So even though i'm sure the SL is fast I dont think he should be saying what he is saying.

Well the Porsche GT2 was ourun in acceleration test of Auto Motor undSport aswell asthe 550 Maranell. by the SL55 AMG.

Weight is an advantage at those speeds.
Weight helps keep the car planted. The RUF doesn't have weight, it has drag inducing downforce. Drag needs a disproportionate amount of HP to overcome it. Weight does not.
