Default Some news - and something for sale...

For Sale - VAG COM KEY-USB - for 97-03 A8/S8

I bought this 6 months ago - used it to reset some service indicators and do the 00011 Tranny mod (worth every penny!). It's the real VAGCOM tool - $249.00 new plus tax and shipping.

I am trading my trusty 99 in next week for an 05 A8L (black/amaretto 17k miles) so I won't be needing this as it does not work with the D3.
Plus I have over a year's factory warranty on the 05 and then the CPO kicks in for another 2 years after that.

While I am very exited to be getting an essentially new D3 A8L in the exact color combo I wanted - I will miss my 99 dearly. It's been a great car! I will still hand around teh D2 forum and try to contribute when possible.

Give me a shout if you want to buy a "used once" VAG COM tool and save some dough.

$200 shipped anywhere in the mainland USA.<ul><li><a href="http://www.ross-tech.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&amp;Product_Code=VCKU0&am p;Category_Code=VAGCOM">more info here.</a></li></ul>

Default Congrats on your upgrade,

but there's a problem with the Vag-Com. Sure someone can buy your cable for $200, but one still has to purchase the software license for $99 as it is not transferable. So, it would be $299 for what you're selling instead of just ordering from Ross-Tech for $249. Just sayin.

Default So what service tools are available for the D3s?...

Being a hands-on guy I'm not sure I'd want one if I couldn't hook up and fiddle with the settings.
