before I am indicating and running close to empty. How does youz guyz gauge indicate. Been a while since I ran any Techron or BG44K through her. Is this a sender issue you suppose or are they all ***** like that.

I can pretty much count on 100 miles/quarter tank.

Ive manually calculated ~15.6MPG mixed driving with my last 2 tanks. Cluster read 16.5avg.

Yeah my calculated mileage is right there with you Tim. It's my gauge's behavior that's all.

The A8 in my driveway just made the round trip to Maryland at 26.7 mpg and there was SOOOO much traffic. Lots of stop and go. (Trip record displayed 52mph average speed.)
I start looking for a refill when the trip odometer says 450 miles. 500 miles on a tank is typical. But. I have not noticed how the first half, second half split plays out.

Sensor issue, though. I've driven it on zero for a while and filled up with 21 gallons.

That is a good way to blow out your fuel pump prematurely. That thing likes to stay wet.

Mine gets about 240 to 1/2, then another 160 to "empty" (about 3 gallon left in tank).
