The head unit is Kenwood Excelon X579. IMHO It was as one of the cleanest head unit I could find. It really makes a difference in sound quality because you can set individualy front and rear hi-pass and sub level. I am using the Bose speakers and factory amp for the mid bass and highs, 180 hrz & up.

I also added an Alpine Type R sub, dual voice coil, and class D mono amp MRP-M350. It puts out 200 watts RMS and has plenty of power to drive the sub. I also had a sub-control **** installed so I can change the level of the sub on the fly.

It sounds so much better now, cleaner highs and lows.
