Spark plugs & coil packs

Spark plugs & coil packs
changed plugs last week on car I bought several months ago. Put in Bosch + 4 plugs. nasty plugs that came out were NGK. Also seems like the right bank have new coil packs on the 5 6 7 8 cylinders but not the left. Is this normal for some of the packs to get changed and on the old packs two of the boots are split, will this cause problems. Now several days after the plug change I seem to have some engine hesitation and the engine light came on today. Any comments on this topic

Re: Spark plugs & coil packs
There are two types of coils packs: old with non-changeable isolator boots and the second with detachable coil end (like on BMW engines). Unfortunately, old boots are often dead (splitting at end) of time or incorrectly installation. This cause ignition skip (especially on hot engine) and CAT warning lamp will flashes. You can't buy this rubber ends separately - you only can change whole coil packs. I advice you to isolate ends with isolating scotch - working perfectly.

You CAN purchase the boots seperately FYI - around $50 each at the dealer OR...
you can get the whole CP and boot for $57!!!
