Good points! Turbos are a pain to fit and the heat issues as well.
Most of the aftermarket products I've seen look like they were slapped on. The Paxton photos look better but the manifold looks awful IMHO.

Vortech is a centrifugal compressor, correct?
It does not make boost off the line, needs to be spun up like a turbo, and I think a positive displacement compressor would best suit our cars, being they are big and heavy. Give it more torque.
