Default Symptoms: Car runs for about 30 to 45 min. then dies and will not start, after inst. new fuel pump.

Any ideas?
Is it a pinched hose or air getting into fuel lines?
Tonite is the second nite it leaves me stranded.
Any thoughts will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Could it be something other than the fuel pump?

Fuel pump is new. Is there such a thing as a pickup line falling off or not connected right?

Default how much gas do you have? This is exactly what happens if the pump is not installed correctly and...

doesn't pick up fuel from the other side of the tank. If you're under 1/2 (or is it 1/4?) tank than that is your problem.

Yesterday under 1/2, left me stranded.
Today over 1/2, left me stranded.

If the pump is not installed correctly, how is this corrected?

If the tank is full, it should work. The pickup pipe comes to play under 1/2 tank.
