Realize that most of us are Americans, and we only got the V8s.
3.7, 4.2 32 valve, and 4.2 40 valve.
Though most questions you might have about the 2.8 V6 can probably get answered in other forums here. Is that car you are considering a 12V or 30V 2.8?
I just did a timing belt/water pump last weekend on the 2.8 30V A6 Avant in my sig.
Also, the Bentley CD shop manual is only for U.S. cars, as far as I know. I don't know if there's anything that covers Euro models on your side of the pond. See link below.
Finally, welcome aboard!<ul><li><a href="http://www.bentleypublishers.com/?stickyEmail=&ticket=none">Bentley Publishing - look at Audi under Technical Discussions, and under Store.</a></li></ul>

If you're from Belgium, you might want to post here too
Everyone will tell you not to buy a 2.8 or 3.7, but to get the 4.2 quattro....it has more power and gets about the same fuel mileage.....<ul><li><a href="http://www.tyresmoke.net/ubbthreads/postlist.php?Cat=1,20,22,25,27,3&Board=a8">tyr esmoke.net, mostly Europeans here</a></li></ul>

Yes I know Paul but here in Belgium we pay road taxes on the size of the engine, a 4.2 is here in Belgium only for people with a lot off money.
